It has always been about people—about gathering, leading, teaching, and creating spaces where others feel inspired and seen.

I followed that calling first into corporate America, where I spent 14 years growing professionally, spiritually, and personally. Those years stretched me in ways I could never have planned, giving me experiences, relationships, and a sense of purpose that would later become the foundation of everything I build today.

In 2016, I felt God clearly asking me to take a different step—one that required faith over certainty. With the support of my family and no visible safety net, I stepped away from the familiar and into the unknown. I trusted that if God was asking me to leap, He would also light the ground beneath my feet.

Simply Cupcakes was born from that obedience—rooted in the words “fearfully and wonderfully made” and inspired by my upbringing centered on simple living, farm-to-table values, and community. From the very beginning, quality mattered. Relationships mattered. And honoring where we came from mattered.

As the vision grew, so did the business.

In 2018, Simply Cupcakes evolved into Butter + Whisk, expanding beyond cupcakes into artisan cakes, pies, cookies, and thoughtfully crafted desserts—still handmade, still intentional, still rooted in simplicity and care.

Then in 2020, in the middle of a global pause, God opened a door I never expected. Butter + Whisk expanded again—this time into our Main Street home—transforming from a bakery into a place for experience: hands-on culinary workshops, chef-driven gatherings, and moments centered around food, wine, and connection.

And now, in 2026, we are stepping into a new chapter once more.

This season is about refinement, not loss.

About focus, not fear.

About closing a chapter with gratitude so we can fully say yes to what’s next.

Butter + Whisk is no longer defined by a daily bake case—but by the table we’re building. A table where people gather to learn, to slow down, to celebrate milestones, to experience food as something meaningful and shared.

We are a culinary experience brand—rooted in faith, guided by creativity, and built for community.

I still feel that familiar nudge from God—the same one I felt in 2016 and again in 2020—asking me to trust Him beyond what I can see or understand. And once again, I’m saying yes.
