Easy Painted Easter Eggs

Painted Easter Eggs

Easter is a little different this year…ok that was an understatement. It’s a LOT different this year. That being said, my husband and I were determined not to let this difficult time take our Easter traditions away.

We gather every year with family (lots of cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles) and decorate 100 Easter eggs and then of course we hunt them! This year was going to be much different – Corona Virus. However, we were determined to enjoy the day together. We set up the phones/computers and gathered at our own tables, but together. We shared our decorating ideas and then shared all our progress and beautiful easter eggs creations. It was so exciting to hear the giggles and “look what color this one came out!” “My fingers are purple hehehehe!”

It was a wonderful reminder to never again take time “together” for granted. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Easter.

We decided to take a little different decorating approach this year (instead of dyed eggs) and I must say that I am absolutely in love with how they turned out. It was really simple, yet very unique and beautiful.

Here’s what we used:

  • Hard Boiled Eggs
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • Egg dish (for drying)
