Rainbow Pancake Stack
Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day these fluffy pancakes are perfect for breakfast or dinner (brinner is what my little ones call it). Your little chef will love being part of this recipe
Pancake Ingredients :
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Food Coloring
Pancake Instructions :
In microwave safe bowl melt butter for 30 seconds, set aside.
In medium bowl whisk together flour + sugar +salt + baking powder.
With whisk stir in milk + egg + butter + vanilla, mix well (batter will be thick and lumpy).
- In small bowls seperate pancake batter + food coloring (one color per bowl).
Use a 1/4 cup measuring cup to scoop pancake batter into cooking surface.
Cook each side for 3-6 minutes, until lightly golden brown.
Glaze Ingredients :
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 + 1/2 tablespoon milk
Glaze Instructions :
In small bowl mix together powdered sugar + milk
- Pour over pancakes + top with sprinkles are favorite fruit.
